This site does it better, this site is easy to use, this site is FREE, and this site is run by collectors just like you.
There are some decent sites and resources targeting collectors available, but nothing really well done. To get all the features most serious colectors want, they'll need find a way to organize their collection, buy price guides, continually monitior eBay lisitngs, join some cookie cutter message board, and/or post some HTML on a web page. CollectorsCentral is here to change this, and make it easy for you.
Whether you are brand new to collecting or a 25+ year vet, you will enjoy learning by following the market trends and contributing to a vibrant community. We will provide tools to help your collection grow.
If we give everyone in the collectibles marketplace a voice, then everyone can contribute to the greater good and expansion of knowledge. We will nurture our community in recognition of its significant core value to the collectibles industry as a whole.
Our real-time pricing engine is really cool (it gathers sale and auction information), but it's only a start. That's why we give our members the ability to contribute their opinions of what they think the price should be. We bring in a few thousand knowledgeable folks, and we get the cleanest and most current anywhere.
Although the listings and prices for so many collectible items is very valuable, it's simply information. When both providers and consumers of this information have equal and unfettered access, the marketplace will reach its peak efficiency. We will do our part to collect, organize, and share this information.
Our tools are the best, our site is easy to use, and we're constantly working to get better. We will focus on providing services and products to help collectors for the long-term.
